A journey into the past
From Gablitz, you will travel in the direction of Tulln past GRAFENEGG CASTLE to LANGENLOIS, famous for its good wine. This is the start of beautiful KAMPTAL (a "culture park").
Continue to the ROSENBURG, where you can watch shows featuring falcons, eagles, and vultures in flight. Head to ALTENBURG ABBEY and to GREILLENSTEIN, a jewel of the Renaissance still with original furnishings.
Afterwards, you can visit ZWETTL ABBEY or travel via Horn to RETZ and the old windmill. Below the large market square in Retz, you will find a large wine cellar that you can visit. At the end of this tour, you will stop by HARDEGG CASTLE with its mighty fortifications.
